Understanding Makeover Games

They aren’t complicated, but still, many men and even some women fail to see what makes makeover games so much fun. There are plenty of benefits to playing makeover games at home, in the salon or through virtual means such as online makeover games, but the best reason of all is how they make you feel.

Makeover games make you feel relaxed. If you’re on the receiving end of a nice pedicure, you’ll be leaning back, preferably in a massage chair getting your feet massaged and your toenails painted. Likewise a manicure comes with a heavy duty hand massage. It’s impossible to not feel great after one of those.

Makeover games leave you energized. Taking time for yourself is critical to having a rested and rejuvenated year. When you’ve focused on caring for yourself, your whole being, mind included, benefits strongly.

Makeover games boost confidence. When you know you look good, you feel great. Makeover games let you feel great and look even better. Taking care of yourself and knowing that your best face is forward is absolutely confidence inspiring.

Winter Makeover Games

The cold months of winter are a natural time to get a bit down in the dumps. But getting depressed during the colder months of the year isn’t something you have to do. It’s easy to cheer yourself up by focusing on yourself a bit. Makeover games can help pull you up out of the gloomy state of mind you’ve been in and make you look fabulous.

Manicures – you can’t see your toes, but your fingers are there for everyone to see all the time. Get your nails done so that your hands are bright and cheerful. Then you can smile every time you see how terrific you look.

Pedicures – sure, your feet are hidden, but who cares? Get your toes done any how and you can enjoy the feeling of luxury while you’re having your feet massaged and later when you let them peek out in a bubble bath.

Facials – Warm massage and deep cleansing is terrific for the skin and a facial will help to slough off the rough, dead skin of winter and leave your skin looking terrific, even if it’s still bundled up in jackets and scarves.

Makeover Games and Growing Up

As you grow up, makeover games will become more enjoyable. We love nothing better than seeing the little girls in the mall with their hair in updos and sparkling with glittering make-up, but older girls need makeover games, too. The older version of makeover games is as old as the hills, or at least as old as shopping malls.

In the makeover games, the group of girls heads to the mall with the intent of wandering around, perhaps flirting with some boys and seeing what’s new. While they are there, the group of girls has the chance to get a makeover from a cosmetic’s booth and seeing what a difference it can make to apply makeup just a bit differently, the girls are thrilled. The next step is to rush around the mall finding a few new pieces of clothing worthy of the new face. The end result is fun – a more glamorous version of you. The best part of all is that you can keep the new look by buying some of the make up products, or you can wash it all away and start again another day.

Makeover Games and Upkeep

We are all different, and some girls spend much more time worried about upkeep than others. Upkeep, the way it’s usually used, is keeping yourself looking sharp. By taking steps to look your best and preserve your skin and appearance, you’ll stay youthful and elegant without heavily noticeable signs of aging. Makeover games are very much a part of upkeep.

Keeping up your looks can be a challenge as you age. Most women start with concern over their hair. As grays become more visible, they dye their hair either at home or at a salon to keep the youthful color of their past. Next is skin tone and color. Wrinkles and age spots are fought through creams and lotions. Some women even take their makeover games so far as to get cosmetic procedures done. Chemical peels and surgeries can have a dramatic effect on your face and aging process. But then, growing old is fun, too.

Makeover Games and Weight Loss

As you lose weight in the New Year, you’ll want to start some new makeover games, and you should definitely do so. But when playing makeover games with weight loss, be careful of going too far off a reasonable path. Most of us have goals for weight loss and when we reach them we’re excited and ready to ditch the old wardrobe and buy a new one. And of course we wait to reach that weight before we even venture into the stores.

The problem is that most of the time as you’re losing weight your clothing is losing fit. That means you’ll need to find clothing in the meantime that fits you now – not at your ideal weight. Every time you realize you’ve hit a new size, go shopping for a small wardrobe you can wear to show off your trimmer figure without breaking your budget or your dreams of hitting an even smaller size a few months from now. You’ll be glad to have the new clothing and the feeling of hitting each of those smaller goals will be very powerful indeed.

Makeover Games and Diet

Your diet can do a lot to influence makeover games. When starting a new healthy diet as part of a long-term makeover game, you’ll need to plan to a new regime of things to eat – not just taking things away. When you leave a hole in your diet plans and makeover games, you’ll have a hard time leaving them empty. It’s much easier to fill that hole with something else.

For example, if you’re used to having a bowl of ice cream every evening before bed, make it a point to take away the ice cream and replace it with a cup of hot chocolate or a mug of tea. You’ll still be getting a cozy treat you can have with a book or show, but you won’t be getting nearly as many calories. A diet, especially one that is part of a makeover game is a retraining of the body to eat only healthy things. Make this easier on yourself by doing away with all of the junk food that is lying around the house and fill those empty space with fruit and other healthy food items.
