Wishing for Makeover Games

How many of us have stared into the mirror in the morning and wished for some serious makeover games? I know that I’d love to have a team ready to take on the task of getting me ready for every day looking my best, but the fact of the matter is – I’m on my own. That doesn’t mean I can’t deal with my own makeover games, of course, it simply means I have to plan a bit differently to get myself pulled together in the best ways. For me, makeover games are a chance to improve what’s already there – I just need to take the time to do it.

The next time I’m feeling like a makeover game is in order, I’m going to start by waking up twenty minutes earlier. This gives me time to do things I might not otherwise do. I can shower, I can do some stretches, I can blow dry my hair. In my morning routine, I’ll be sure to wake up completely so that I’m comfortable putting in my contacts and applying a bit of make up. It’s interesting how much more aware and awake I feel when I’m pulled together. On the days that I go looking like I rolled out of bed, I feel that way much of the day. The few times I know I look good, I actually feel better, too. It’s definitely something to consider every morning of the week.

Makeover Games for Back to School

I love back to school shopping. It’s a nice way to get organized for the big return each fall, and it’s a great opportunity to play makeover games. After all, you want to look your best when you walk into the classroom for the first time each year, and this year will not be an exception. When you’re playing makeover games for back to school, always remember that you should be comfortable and professional in your clothing – especially if you’re required to wear a uniform.

Start your makeover game early in the summer by using your extra time to be more active. Go play outside and get busy moving and shaking. All that movement will help you shed a few pounds which will make all of your clothing fit more comfortably. As part of your makeover games, head to the salon for a new look. This is a perfect time to try on a new hairstyle or color since nobody has seen you since last year. Pick up a few new outfits in all of the back to school sales and you’re ready for the big day – your first of this year.

Makeover Games for Long Hair

I have long hair. There are times that I wish I could just run to the salon and ask them to lop it all off. I want to be cute and little with an adorable spiky haircut. Unfortunately, I’m not little. I’m very tall with broad shoulders. That means that cutting my hair ultra short will make my head look small. Or at least I think so. So for now I’m stuck with my longer hair. It gives my head a bit more balance and it is nice to be able to pull it back.

Long hair doesn’t last forever though unless you always wear it up. As you grow older, all the makeover games in the world can’t make you stop aging completely. Your face will show the signs of aging, of course, and having long hair hanging around your face actually pulls it down and makes you look older. So knowing that, I’m now thinking about the best time to do something with my own hair. I guess when I realize that I’m starting to look old I’ll get serious about a short haircut. When it that? Sixty? I have some time to grow still.

Makeover Games at the Mall

I haven’t been to the mall in ages, but I need to go because I’m desperately in need of a makeover. I love to play makeover games at the mall. The games are a nice way to delve into the current fashions and find things that really work on girls with tricky figures like mine. When you head to the mall to find some items to include in a makeover game, you might take along a friend for the fun of sharing the shopping experience, or you might go solo. Either way, you’ll be there to see what’s new and to have a great time in the process.

When I head to the mall as part of my makeover games, I try to find looks that I know are in style, but also work for my height and my build. I’m not petite or even especially thin, which appears to be the requirements for most stores in the mall. But fortunately there are plenty of stores available to those of us who need a bit of extra wiggle room in our clothing. These stores and styles let me have a great makeover game experience in the mall every year around this time.
