‘Tis the Season for Face Painting

If you love face painting, you’re in luck – this is the perfect season for makeover games involving more than a bit of blush and mascara. Face paint is very noticeable and not necessarily something you’d want to do on a daily basis, but if you ever wanted a chance to try out some new looks, this is the perfect opportunity.

Look One
On the first day or week that you try face painting, do your face in an exaggerated clown face. Add bright red cheeks, red lips, and a white base with black eyebrows. You can buy a red clown nose or just paint your nose red (or green, or blue) to complete the look.

Look Two
The next time, try a sad clown face by using a white base, black circles around the eyes and a down turned mouth. Be sure to act out the personality of your face, of course.

Look Three
Finish with the clowns and try out a fairy face. Add curls and even tendrils of flowers or ivy to your face. Paint with glitter on your brow and extend the painting on your entire forehead. You might just decide you love being a fairy so much, you do it for the duration of the Halloween season.
