Mrs. Claus Makeover Games

Want to become Mrs. Claus for Christmas? Mrs. Claus is a very noble figure at the North Pole. She does keep things running after all. Putting together a great makeover game for Mrs. Claus is actually pretty simple. The hardest part will be coming up with the right red and white.

Start by heading to a fabric store. You’ll need a nice red felt and some white fur to trim. Cut out a large circle of felt to make a long skirt. Since you’re dealing in felt, it shouldn’t need hemming. Use fabric glue to attach the fur to the bottom of the skirt.

Pull on a white blouse, throw on your new skirt and then a large black belt. Pull your hair up into an updo of some kind or a practical bun. Add reading glasses and you’ll be all set!

If you have extra material, you might use it to make a long winter cape. Cut the material into an almost rectangular shape leaving two longer ties on either end. Trim the bottom and maybe the collar of the cape with white fur to give it that North Pole effect.

3 Ways to Spoil Makeover Games

If you want to play makeover games with your friends, go right ahead! Makeover games are a great way to bond – unless you spoil it, that is.

You Refuse to Share – If you are playing makeover games online, you’re going to have to share the computer and creative control. This means that not only do you have to give up the mouse, but you have to give up all the “advice” you like to offer to the friend who is wielding the controls at the moment.

You Trash Talk – Trash talking someone or their clothing is a sure fire way to spoil the mood. For example, “Here! Try this one – it’s way better than the junk you normally wear,” is not something your friend will want to hear. Avoid making negative comments about everyone and things will go smoothly.

You Make Others Ugly – Makeover games can be silly as well as glamourous, but when you get to be the princess and she has to be the wicked witch during the game, you might just hurt her feelings. Let everyone be the witch or the princess, but don’t make others feel ugly.

The Best Time for Makeover Games

I’m convinced there is a time for everything, and as far as I’m concerned, the best time for makeover games is when you need a pick-me-up. This can be at any time, but usually it’s around stressful times such as exams or after a disappointment. Here are a few of my favorite times for makeover games. Play them online or with friends to make yourself feel fashionable and funky again.

After a Breakup – When you’re single again you need a new look. Make yourself feel better about yourself by trying on some new clothes and hairstyles.

Before the Big Test – Take a break in all that studying so you can relax for a bit and give your brain a welcome break. Dress up games online are the perfect way to relax between study times.

After a Bad Date
– Want to take your mind off a bad date? Call a friend and keep your hands busy dressing up girls online for their own dates.

When You’re Feeling Blah – If you’re feeling just a bit out of sorts and need something to get you back in gear, a few rounds of dress up games are likely the perfect solution.

Three Ways Makeover Games Prepare You For Christmas

Makeover games do plenty for you, as you know. But with the holidays just around the corner, makeover games can do even more to help you prepare for the Christmas season.

Makeover Games Show You the Right Outfits
Makeover games can help you choose the right outfits to wear to each holiday event. In the holidays you should be having fun dressing up, not worrying if the outfit looks good on you or not. Practice pulling together looks online to find just the right mix of colors and textures.

Makeover Games Make Great Gifts
Everyone loves a makeover, and what better time that in the months of Christmas and New Years celebrations. Invite a friend over for a special makeover sleep-over or, if you can afford it, book a makeup artist and hair cut for the two of you over the winter break to give yourself completely new looks before heading back to school.

Makeover Games Put You in the Holiday Mood
Getting ready for the holidays is fun, but exhausting just the same. After a long day of decorating and shopping, relax on the computer with makeover games. Pulling together fun elf costumes is just the thing to put you back in the spirit of Christmas.

‘Tis the Season for Makeover Games!

Christmas is just around the corner and with the holidays comes the best thing of all – a break from school! This means you suddenly have time on your hands to take care of all those pesky holiday chores. But when the cookies are baked and the presents are wrapped, just what should you do with yourself?

Play makeover games, of course!

It has to be said – makeover games both on the computer and off are a great way to relax and enjoy time without worries or constraints. Picture the stress of trying to find a great holiday party outfit just minutes before your date arrives. Wouldn’t it be easier to spend hours a day playing with your clothes to find new looks and practicing your hair and make up first?

Not only is it fun in its own right to play around and mix and match new items, the holiday sales in the mall make it even easier to go and find the newest looks available to blend and mix with your current wardrobe. When you know every item in your closet by heart, it’s easy to see how quickly you can make up your mind about what will look great under the mistletoe.

My Makeover Games

I like makeover games. I love to watch makeover on television, and I’ll admit I’m a bit jealous when someone else gets a makeover on TV. I’d love to be pampered and primped. I wouldn’t mind a professional coming to tell me what looks good on me and what I might consider doing differently to really bring out my best features. As of this moment, I’m not exactly sure what my best features are!

But since nobody is offering me a free makeover, I’ll have to content myself with playing makeover games online. I might not be changing anyone’s life when I dress up the dolls online, but it is still a lot of fun to pretend to be the fashion designer making decisions about wardrobes and such.

The best part of makeover games is there is no wrong selection. In most games you win or lose, but that’s not the case with makeover games. Instead, you get a chance to take a doll/girl from one place to another fashion-wise. You can practice your hair and make-up skills as well as your ability to dress and accessorize. At the end of the day, you’ve made a creation you can truly be proud of.

Do You Need a Makeover?

I can never decide if I’d be thrilled to find out I won a makeover or if I’d be upset. I mean, it has to be embarrassing to find yourself on one of those makeover shows where your friends and family have nominated you for being such as horrible dresser with your eighties hairstyle. Of course, winning thousands of dollars to go shopping and a brand new designer look wouldn’t be so bad after you got over your embarrassment.

Of course, I think it would help a lot if you actually recognized that you needed a makeover. The people that think they look good and don’t are the ones who seem to be stung the most when they find out what friends and family think. So are you living in denial? Do you need a makeover?

  • Does your hair just hang there or is always pulled back in a ponytail or other not official hair-style?
  • Do you wear make-up?
  • If you do wear it, do other people seem to look at you oddly from time to time?
  • Do people turn around to stare at your clothing when you walk down the street?
  • Have strangers made comments about your clothing?
  • Could you have worn the same clothing items years ago?
  • Can you share clothes with your grandmother or brother?

If you answered yes to anything above, it might be time to take on some makeover games!
