Makeover Games and Haircuts

If you’re tired of your current look, all you might really need is a new haircut. Getting your hair cut and styled makes you look like a totally new person and it’s usually much less expensive than investing in a new wardrobe. Makeover games that include a brand new hairstyle are always a good choice and there is a lot of possibility for what you can do if you’re contemplating something well outside your current comfort zone.

There are two schools of thought on makeover games that include haircuts. Some people would advise you to make choices that are more in line with the look you've had for a long time. A dramatic change can shock your system and throw you off in a big way. Of course, by that same token, if you choose to make a look that is less dramatic, you may not feel satisfied with the results of your expensive new haircut and then you’ll simply have to make new choices and make even bolder choices the next time around.

Makeover Games for Little Girls

Little girls are great participants in makeover games. Everyone likes to look different and feel pretty, so makeover games are a great option for playing with your little sister or your babysitting charges. Playing with makeover games is simple with little girls - they don't usually know just how much is required to be fully dressed or wear a full face of make up.

That means you can get away with putting on a shade of lipstick and a bit of eye shadow on your little sister and she may think she is fully made up. You then have the additional option of putting on a bit of blush or even some mascara to really make her feel special. Do a quick braid or up style and you'll have some beautiful little girls who feel beautiful, too. Not to mention that those same little ones will be convinced that you're the coolest girl ever.

Makeover Games and Long Hair

There is no rule that states that your long hair must be worn down. In fact, if you have long hair, you may have a lot more fun wearing it up more often than wearing it down. You long hair can mean many things. For one, it’s a very attractive, even sexy look to have long hair – but you don’t always want to look super sexy. Sometimes you might prefer to look professional or pulled together in a school girl sort of way. That’s when the makeover games really kick in.

To look great with makeover games, you only need to take ownership of your long hair and decide how you want to style it each day. For example, you might decide to braid it back one day and then wear it in long waves the next. A look with straightened hair is always fun, and of course there is the option to simply wear it back in a bun or a ponytail. With so many different styling options, there are almost no limits to what you can do with long hair and makeover games.

Makeover Games and Travel

There is no better time to enjoy some makeover games than when you’re gearing up for some serious travels. Going on a trip means you have an excellent opportunity to prepare some pretty new outfits and buy a few things that you can wear just for the trip – and of course when you get back. Most of the time, buying things for a trip is second nature, but you can also take that idea and turn it up a notch if you’d like so that you’re playing makeover games on your trip.

For example, if you’re planning to travel somewhere with just a girlfriend who knows you well, why not dye your hair, get a new style and buy some daring clothing before you go? You can take on an entirely new personality while you’re out and about – away from your current lifestyle. Who knows? You may decide you like that lifestyle so much you decide to keep it when you get back!

Makeover Games and Blonde Hair Dye

There is something to be said for blonde hair. It's not only noticeable, but it's fun to wear as well. Of course if you're going to play makeover games with blonde hair, you have to play by the rules and be ready for some necessary maintenance issues that may come with your new golden locks.

When you play makeover games with hair dye, it’s normally a good idea to use a dark color that washes out over the course of a month. But if you're going to use blonde hair dye, it's not going to wash out since you have to actually bleach your hair to get it light enough. It's a very good idea to go to a hair dresser or color specialist as you play with your lighter hair colors.

That way you won't wind up with black hair if you accidentally use the wrong color. Going to a color specialist also ensures that your makeover games turn out successfully and you walk away with a hair color that is fun and works with your own personal style.

Makeover Games with Music

There’s something about music that makes makeover games that much more entertaining and fun. When you are playing with fashion, it’s always an adventure to see what sorts of designs you’ll create. Taking that up even a notch by using music makes the adventure more intense and you can ramp up your fun, especially if you’re playing makeover games with a friend. Just try thinking of a fashion show without music blaring!

Having a friend over makes any makeover game more fun, but you can have an even more enjoyable time by turning on some party music and dancing a bit as you play. Laugh, sing, be rowdy and most importantly have fun. After all, isn’t that the entire point of makeover games? You want to end the games with a new look, some fun memories and a few new dance moves as well.

Makeover Games and Privacy

There is a lot of fun involved when you play makeover games with a friend, but you can have just as much fun playing makeover games by yourself if you really enjoy your privacy. When you play makeover games alone, you don’t have to wait to hear what others think about your fashion choices and you can change your mind countless times without having to justify it to anyone. For example, if you head to the mall in search of a great new outfit, why not go alone?

You can browse through the stores for as long as you’d like without being bothered by a friend’s schedule, and you can pick up things you like – even if you know she’d hate them. Grab a giant stack and then go try everything on. As you find things you like in your makeover games, put them aside – you don’t need anyone’s approval but your own. Once you’re sure of what you like and what you actually want to wear, you can still play with the colors and styles until you find just the right thing to wear for your makeover games. Best of all, when you walk out you can surprise your best friend or family members with the new outfit they have never seen before.

Makeover Games and Weird Body Types

Not everyone has a great body to dress during makeover games. Despite with magazines, fashion shows and even fashion websites might have us think, we’re definitely not all built the same way and understanding that is the first step to figuring out the best way to flatter your own figure without detracting from your overall fashion sense and style. For example, there are relatively few people who can wear short skirts and look perfectly comfortable and natural in them. If you have short legs, for example, the short skirt isn’t a good choice. Likewise if you have a wide backside or broad hips – the skirt will be wider than it is short, and that’s unflattering.

If you have a body type that doesn’t fit the mold, you’ll have a bit more trouble finding clothing for your makeover games, but that doesn’t mean you should give up. Take your body shopping and try things on. Just look at how clothing fits you and then identify the aspects that are most flattering. In general, those features will be things like clothing that skims the body rather than clinging to it or draping over it. You might also have to delve into accessories to complete your new look as well, but that, at least, will be plenty of fun.

Makeover Games and Money

It’s hard to play intense makeover games if you don’t have a lot of money. Everything seems to cost so much, and there’s not a lot you can buy for twenty or thirty dollars in most stores. If you’re looking to play with makeover games, you’re going to need the help of your friends as well as some clever shopping ideas.

Your first stop should be thrift and consignment shops. There are some very trendy stores today that buy and sell used clothing, and these might be a great place to get started. Finding smaller, local resale shops can help cut the budget as well – the major, national resale shops might be more expensive than the local ones that often have sales or special buys.

Use scissors and special knots to make your clothing more exciting. Start with what you have and then use your creativity to enhance it. Stained clothing can be tie-dyed. Shirts that are too big can be belted like tunics or tied to fit the body closely.

Makeover Games and Weight

It’s hard to feel good about yourself if you’re struggling with weight. What’s important though is to remember that you can look great at any weight – the trick is finding the best ways to dress yourself to show your assets and play down the more negative aspects of your body. If you’re planning to lose weight, the best thing you can do is find some clothing that looks great on your body right now.

Get a new haircut as part of your makeover games and find some make up to make you look awesome. Once you’ve embraced your weight and your current style, you’ll be in a much healthier place to lose weight. Losing weight and getting fit when you feel terrible is hard – you can’t motivate yourself properly. But you can certainly motivate yourself if you already look great, and you know you’ll just look even better at the end of the process. Make your makeover games about looking good now and then you can focus on losing weight if that’s still something you feel you need to do.

Makeover Games: A Primer

If you’ve never played makeover games, you’re absolutely missing out. Makeover games are outstanding for a few reasons, the least of which is that they are a great way to experience fashion and design online. Makeover games let you really get into the fashion side of things and design new looks that not only wow us, but also are highly functional. You can practice with makeover games and come up with an entirely new look for yourself every morning if you really wanted to.

With makeover games, you’re given a doll base that looks a lot like a paper doll of old. Then you have your choice of countless clothing items and hair styles. Start moving clothing around to find the best looks for particular occasions. Then, when you find an outfit you like, you’ll need to dig around and find a new hairstyle you like as well. The whole package includes the hairstyle, the makeup and, of course, the fashions you need to truly make an impressive new look. Who knows maybe you’ll find your own outstanding new look this way.

Makeover Games and Sleep

It’s hard to be beautiful in your makeover games if you haven’t taken care of yourself the night before. Sleep is one of the most important elements in your makeover games, and without a good night’s sleep and sometimes even a beauty nap during the day, your skin isn’t going to look it’s best and your entire face will reflect your tiredness.

Bags under your eyes are often the most significant sign that you’re tired. When you have dark circles under your eyes, it should be absolutely clear to everyone that there is something amiss. Of course, you can try to cover these circles with concealer, but that doesn’t always work properly. You might be able to cover the darkness, but it’s impossible to cover the swelling.

Sadly your eyes don’t just get dark when you’re tired; they start to swell, too. Swollen eyes aren’t very attractive and they can make it a challenge to apply make up as well as to look your best. Cold cucumber can help to reduce the puffiness, but then so can a good night’s sleep - a great recommendation any way you take it.

Makeover Games and Toenails

It may seem like an unlikely combination, but I make a lot of my decisions about makeover games based on my toe nails. When my toenails are pretty, I feel like I look good and that I’m taking care of myself correctly. When my toenails look sloppy or my feet are callused and not as attractive, I’m not nearly as included to play other makeover games. Right now, for example, I’m dealing with unpainted toenails.

I need a pedicure desperately. I need a manicure desperately for that matter as well. This weekend is going to be my time for beauty though. I’m going to use some serious makeover games to get my toenails in order. At the same time, I’m going to get my nails done and perhaps even get a haircut and new style. Heck, while I’m at it, why not use some makeover games to get some new clothes. And so it goes – the toenails seem to be the beginning of every round of makeover games for me, and they are always fun.

Makeover Games and Little Girls

Mothers of little girls know that playing dress up is one of the best things you can do to really amuse your little one. Makeover games with little girls are hugely fun and many businesses have even started to just spend time with the little girls. Glitter, make up and hairspray seem to be the main ingredients, but no matter how you arrange it, doing some makeover games with your little one is one of the best things for both of you.

When you play makeover games, you and your little girl will be bonding in a very special way that only two girls can. Of course, being the mother, you’ll have the advantage of being able to use a straightener or a curling iron, but just spending time together is huge. Also having a mother step in to help a little girl learn how to wear make up and how to do her hair is a necessary step as well in growing up if she plans to wear make up and hair products as she ages.

How to Play Makeover Games

If you love to watch makeovers on television, but haven’t actually had the chance to do your own makeover, there is no time like the present. Makeover games are easy enough once you get your mind set around what you want to do. Start by making a chart of the areas you want to address. If you don’t like your current body shape, start a diet. If you want a new hairstyle, cut out some pictures from magazines to find a hairstyle you can enjoy that makes sense for your current job or school.

If you need some new clothing, start looking around at the current fashions and watching style shows to learn more about what you should be wearing for your current body shape. Then, just get started. Make an appointment with a great stylist for a new hairstyle. Then take yourself to the mall and pick out a few new outfits. Get to the gym and start working on a new body. Even if your body doesn’t change much right away, you’ll still gain the confidence you need to make a difference and continue on with the makeover games.

The Best Things about Makeover Games

Makeover games are among the most interesting adventures out there – if you’re into dressing up. When you play with make up and fashions, you’re always able to find new looks and styles to suit your face, and you can have more than a bit of fun at the same time. Makeover games are straightforward. You pull together some clothing styles you like to work with and then gather up everything you need for make up and hair. You can do this with friends or alone, depending on your mood.

If you’re working alone, you can really experiment with your clothing styles and designs to see what works for you best. If you’re playing with a friend, you have someone there to offer honest feedback and advice on the looks you’re putting together. When it’s all said and done, you have a style that is easy to wear and a look that you’re confident will be easy to pull together on a whim or a moment’s notice, especially since you’ve practiced it before.

Makeover Games and Long Nails

I have long nails, but they pose a serious problem sometimes. When I’m typing especially it drives me crazy to have the click-click-clicking of my nails on the keyboard. Most of all, I can always tell when my nails are getting too long because they make my fingers slide across the keyboard and I start missing keys. When my fingers no longer connect with the keyboard and I have to rely on my nails to do my typing for me, we’ve got a problem. It’s time for some serious makeover games with my long nails.

Normally I just cut them off with clippers or scissors and start over, but this time I’d like to try something different. I’ll still cut them down to a better length, but instead of cutting far back on my hands, I’m going to leave them shaped and ready because I’m going to start getting weekly manicures. My hands are going to look great and there’s no doubt that I’m going to love every minute of the pampering that goes into a really good manicure. My clothing might not be benefiting from this particular makeover game, but my nails need some makeover games, too!

Makeover Games for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a family holiday, but it can be a bit intense if your family dresses for the holiday dinner. In many households, makeover games are necessary to prepare yourself for a full presentation on Thanksgiving Day. From new hairstyles to a new outfit, you’ll want to plan ahead to put your best face and foot forward when the whole group gets together. You don’t have to do it alone, however, makeover games are a great way to get advice and practice your new look before the big day.

Makeover games start you off with a blank body. You then add the clothing options available to make a particular kind of look. Add clothing that works for you and then get to work on her hair and make up. You’ll want to add the right kind of festive look without going overboard – this is an evening in, of course. Pull it all together and you’ll have a look on paper than you can easily translate into a new look for this Thanksgiving celebration.

Makeover Games and Fall

The fall months are the most fun for makeover games. The weather is so mild it’s easy to throw a new look together without worrying about your hair sticking to your neck or your make-up being too garish in the bright sunshine. The cool days of fall give you lots of options for your wardrobe as well with layering techniques and a lot of fun boots and shoes to pick from. When it’s time to pull some makeover games together, the fall is the best time to give them a try.

This fall, my makeover games are going to consist of a big hair cut and some new clothing. I’m fortunate to be able to dress down for work, and my wardrobe plans include some casual pants, a bunch of sweaters that range from weekend to weekday easily and the required undershirts for a bit of layering. All told, the look is easy, comfortable and very wash-and-wear. While it might not be dramatic or even outrageously stylish, this simple fall look is timeless and easy – just the sort of thing I like.

Makeover Games and Highlights

I recently got highlights for the first time. I decided that I wasn’t content to go quietly into the years beyond the teen ones, and I wanted a new look, so I got myself one. Fortunately, I have a close friend who is a hair stylist, and she was able to arrange the highlights for me and walk me through the process. One day she sat me down and we did a subtle highlight job. The color wasn’t much darker than my hair, and I liked the effect, but I’ve since decided that a subtle job isn’t as much fun as I would have liked.

So the next time I do highlights, I’m going to do the highlights with a bit more oomph – I’m going even lighter and I might even do a dye-job first. Wouldn’t it be fun to walk into a salon as a brunette and come out as a deep red head? Or maybe some light blonde just for a bit of fun. I’ve had friends who have played with hair color for years, but I was never much of a player then. Now though, I think it’s time to take my makeover games to the next limit.
