Spring break is the perfect time for makeover games. If you’re traveling or staying home, you have plenty of options for how to spend your time in a constructive fashion sense.
New Location, New You
If you’re traveling to a new location over spring break, you have every reason to try out a look you’ve wanted to try. You might pull out all the preppy clothes you’ve accumulated or try on all your goth and punk clothes for the trip. Your friends and family won’t mind if you try out something a bit different than what they are used to. You’ll also have a chance to wear the clothing in real life to see how they feel and if the new look is something you’re comfortable with for the long term.
Playing At Home
If you’re staying at home, you’ll have a rare opportunity to go through your closet to find out what you have that you haven’t worn in a while. Use this chance to clean out your closet. Try everything on. If it fits and you like it, keep it. If you’ve outgrown something, put in a pile for a younger family member or in a pile for those less fortunate. You can also sell some of your outgrown clothing in consignment shops or a garage sale. While you go through your closet, you might also notice that you need a few new items or some replacements – spring break is a good time to shop to get those with your friends who are also home.
