What I’ve Learned From Makeover Games

You can learn a lot by playing makeover games. I think anyone who isn’t used to the rough and tumble world of fashion has a great deal to learn, but even as someone who’s relatively up-to-date stylewise, I’ve learned a few things.

Don’t Go Too Far
When you do a style makeover on a makeover game or in real life, don’t go too far from your starting point. It’s hard enough to take a skirt when you’re used to wearing pants, but taking someone used to being in sports attire and putting them in a frilly skirt has doom written all over it. Stick to more updated versions of what she is already doing to make things smoother for everyone.

Encourage Correctly
When you ask someone to try something on for you to see how it looks, praise the results – don’t criticize where she came from. In real life this looks like the girl who wears something that is too tight getting more glamorous in tailored pants and pointy heels. The finished product should be lavishly praised and all the good points shown. Avoid criticizing the two – she can see that one is better than the other already.

Hair Makeover Games

I’m in serious need of a hair makeover game to help me find a new look. Currently I have long, wavy hair that is always tied up or pulled back into a low pony tail. I can’t even wear it high on my head because the hair weighs so much it actually breaks off pieces in the front and pulls enough to give me a headache.

I know I should cut it short or thin it out, but it’s hard to make a commitment. The hair itself if part of the problem. It’s thick and has a spiral curl to it making it tricky to cut short. Add to that I’m completely lazy when it comes to my hair and we see the true problem. I want the kind of hair cut that does something fantastic on its own without any help from me, but I have yet to find that sort of hairstyle.

So for now I just play hair makeover games on the computer to entertain myself and to see if I can find a style I really get excited about. My hair is reaching a point where it’s just about time to do something. It’s figuring out what that “something” should be that brings me back to hair makeover games over and over again.

Makeover Games and Eyebrows

Your eyebrows frame your face. As the most notable part of your upper face, your brows say a lot about your grooming and you can change a great deal just by changing how you deal with your eyebrows.

Eyebrow Shape
Your eyebrows should have a natural arch. You can help to define the natural arch with the help of a specialist, but look first at magazines to see what sort of eyebrows models have. You can bet they are at the top of the makeover spectrum and have the latest and greatest style.

Eyebrow Creation
Be extremely careful if you plan to wax or pluck your eyebrows yourself. It takes time for them to grow back and you’ll want to be sure that you don’t go too far on accident. For your first foray into eyebrow care, you might consider visiting a very reputable spa or salon. Don’t skimp here as you don’t want someone doing your eyebrows who isn’t capable or competent – they might do a worse job than you do.

Caring for Shaped Eyebrows
Once your eyebrows are shaped, your job will be to care for them. Tweeze out the stray hairs as they grow back and have them waxed, threaded or plucked on a regular basis to keep them looking great.

Summer Makeover Games

Summer is fast approaching and it’s a great time to play some summer makeover games. To play a summer makeover game, you need only determination, some work out clothes and a plan.

The Summer Makeover Game
Summer is the perfect time to reinvent yourself. You can do this by changing your outside and inside look. A bit of exercise, a great new haircut and some time thinking and growing on the inside can transform you into a whole new person. To give yourself a summer makeover you can:

  • Walk or jog every day. It’s nice and warm outside, so get out there and exercise. Start walking or jogging every day to build up some muscle and to help improve your overall health.
  • Spend thirty minutes without noise. Spend time every day writing, listening, relaxing and thinking. Dig down deep inside to learn what you want to do and who you want to be.
  • Design a new look. Spend the summer piecing together a new look. Add a new clothing item or accessory each week and soon you’ll have a brand new wardrobe ready to take on the new you.

5 Ways to Improve Makeover Games

Looking to improve your makeover games? It should be easy enough once you know what you’re looking to do.

1. Include more friends. It’s possible you’re playing makeover games on your own or with only one other person. However, when you bring more friends into the game you also bring in much more fun.

2. Do hair first. Do someone’s hair first. Then it is ready to go whenever the girls are. Highly complex styles might be good for only a few hours, however, so plan your timing for hair very carefully.

3. Wear good underwear. Trying on clothing and creating a full makeover is a matter that requires proper foundation. Wear your best underwear when you head out for makeover games. You’ll be glad you did.

4. Bring a camera along. Be sure to bring along your camera when you go to play makeover games. You’ll want to record the whole thing many times over. That will keep things more entertaining and you’ll have evidence for posterity.

5. Try new things. Makeover games are always the most fun when you try new things and break out of your comfort zone.

Makeover Games and Your Hair

Your hair is very much a part of your makeover games. Your hair style can make a huge difference in how you appear a given day. Slap that hair up and you’re ready to run. Wear it loose and you’re being romantic, but hair also has some special treatments you can use to make it more manageable on hair days.

Wash Hair Less Frequently
Unless your hair or scalp is very oily, you need only wash your hair every 2-3 days. This leaves it more manageable and able to take style. When it is newly washed, hair slips through many styles and won’t stay put. But when it’s a day or two since the last washing, you can hold complex styles much more easily.

Use Scalp Powder
There are certain powders that can mak ei tappear as though you’ve been washing your hair every day when, in fact, you’ve been washing it every three or even four days. Two to three is the norm, however, But the product you need is a powder than can be sprayed or applied to your scalp to stop the oily appearance of your unwashed hair. Be sure to ask your hairdresser for a good recommendation.

Makeover Games and Weight Issues

If you are struggling with weight issues, you need to get more involved in makeover games. Often, those who struggle with weight issues try to avoid trying on clothes and don’t want to find clothing that fits well simply because it’s not the size they’d like to wear or a style they think is appropriate.

But if you take yourself to one of the more varied shopping malls, you’ll find that there are far more options in clothing than you thought possible. You can find juniors styles in extended sizes and more and more often, fuller women are able to find glamorous clothing that flatters their curves and doesn’t dig in or sit uncomfortably.

Finding new clothing to wear during makeover games is just the first step, however. Once you have your clothing selected, try out some new make up and a new haircut and you’ll feel great. Use that energy to help you tackle those few extra pounds once and for all. The pride you feel and the comfortable knowledge that you look good at any size is enough to keep you motivated for a long time.
