While you absolutely love playing makeover games, you’re parents might not find the make up and enthusiasm for change quite as exciting as you do. After all, you’re working hard to look older and more mature through a new look including make up and hairstyles. Your parents are probably quite content with you just the way you are. This naturally puts many girls at odds with their parents.
When you start to play makeover games, you can avoid some of the drama by including your parents. Let your mom look through hair magazines with you or go with you to the store to buy some new makeup or hair accessories. By including your mother at least in the makeover game process, she’ll see that it’s all for fun, and that you’re not really interested in having pink hair for the rest of your life.
Of course, you might be lucky enough to have a parent who really understands how much fun makeover games can be and will help you really get creative. If your mom is willing, why not try a truly different haircut or find some edgy clothing to wear to school one week. There are many parents who might even decide they like a look on you so much that they want to try it out themselves – hopefully you won’t wind up with two goth parents.
