Makeover Your Wardrobe

Makeover games aren’t just about your hair and make up. Sometimes your whole wardrobe needs a full makeover. The best show to watch when you’re ready to play wardrobe makeover games is What Not to Wear. In the show Clinton and Stacey help fashioned challenged individuals find clothes that flatter their figures and suit their individual styles.

Granted the show is for adults, not kids, but there is no reason why you can’t work through your own wardrobe to find pieces that just don’t work for you anymore or that aren’t really your new style.

Before going through your closet, think about the kind of style you’d like to have. Are you going to try for romantic goth looks or just something casual and sporty? Is there a particular store you like to shop from? If so you’ll probably want to try and keep items that fit the style of that store.

Then, finally go through your closet trying on outfits and examining your clothes to see what suits your new sense of style. Give away the clothes that don’t suit you any more and hang on to the ones that do. Then, your closet will be full of only the clothing you need to look and feel your best every day.

Shoe Makeover Games

Ever wish you could do something fun that wouldn’t get you in trouble with dress code at school and would be a chance to spice up your uniform with a bit of sparkle? You can with shoe makeover games.

When you’re stuck in a uniform, you have very limited options as to how you can wear your shirt and pants, but often nothing is said about your shoes. Use this opportunity to make your shoes fun and outrageous – something to really be proud of.

Ad Sparkle – Invest in glitter glue and fake gems and glue them onto your shoes. This works well with any kind of shoe including boots, flip-flops, Crocs, and tennis shoes.

Add Color – Use your artistic nature to decorate your shoes with paint pens. This works especially well on boots and canvas sneakers like Vans and Converse. Just be sure your picture isn’t offensive and you should be within the rules.

Add Laces – Even if you can’t actually write on your shoes, there is probably no rule about getting some really great shoe laces. Find something fun and thread them through, or you might even consider using multiple laces on each shoe.

What You Need For Makeover Games

If you want to play makeover games, there isn’t much you really need to have a good time. The things you do need, however are absolutely required.

You need make-up. If you’re doing someone’s full makeover, you’re going to need some make-up to give that person a whole new look from head to toe.

You’re going to need some hair products.
It’s hard to do a makeover without taking on a new hairstyle, too. Throw some brushes, bobby pins and products into a bag to take over to a friend’s house. That way you’re always ready for the games ahead.

You’ll need some outfits.
A makeover is only fun if the participant gets a new look. Bring some of your outfits, head to the store, or just got through your friend’s closet to find things she hasn’t worn in a while.

You’ll need a participant.
You can do a makeover on yourself, but it’s always more fun to give a friend a makeover. Plus the friend usually enjoys the attention, too.

Life Makeovers

There is much more to makeover games than dressing up dolls online or even dressing up your kid sister. A full makeover is much more than new shoes and a dye job. In fact, these things might not be what you really need if you’re actually searching for a life makeover.

Life Makeovers
A life makeover is when you transform your entire life. You might not like you are right now or the things you’ve been doing. If that is the case, it can be hard work to break the cycle and start your life in a new direction. But putting forth the effort is definitely worth it when you realize how terrific the results can be.

Your Makeover Games
Makeover games are just that – games. But your life is not a game. There are no do-over and you don’t get many second chances. Instead of moving forward in the wrong direction, force yourself to a stop, take stock, and then start making the necessary changes to get yourself moving again closer to the direction you’d like to be heading.

The Rewards
Any bad habit is hard to quit, but when you’re successful at stopping something you know you don’t want to do anymore, you’ll feel a huge amount of success in your victory. When you undergo a life makeover, you can fully expect to feel proud to just be you.

Makeover Games in the Mall

What better place to have a makeover than the mall? Head to the mall on a hot and boring summer day to experience the best of the makeover world.

Start with some mall watching. Grab a drink and a comfortable spot to sit and watch the people walk by. Be sure to note what everyone is wearing, especially if you like their style.

Find the basics. The next step is to take the ideas you gained from watching others and put them into action. Saw some skinny jeans you loved? Head to the stores to find them. Saw some awesome new shoes? Walk the mall looking for them in a store window. If you’re having trouble finding the items you’re looking for, you can always find the other person wearing them and ask her where she found them.

Accessorize. No makeover game is complete without accessories, and the mall is always full of those. Add a necklace and earrings to the mix or grab a new, fashionable bag. Just remember – the whole point is to have a good time and to learn something new about fashion.

Become a Makeover Consultant

Do you like to do makeovers? If you are an expert at doing your friends hair and make up, maybe it’s time to do more than just make over your friends. Little girls love to do makeover games and their parents are always looking for someone to come to birthday parties and make the little girls into little princesses.

If you know what you’re doing and have the right connections, you can be a makeover consultant. If you’re nervous about doing this on your own, enlist the help of a friend or sister who also loves to do makeovers. You’ll need to buy all the things you’ll need for the makeovers like make-up, hair pins, glitter, and sparkly objects for those up dos. Remember to get q-tips and disposable makeup applicators as they are much more sanitary.

When your makeover kit is ready, put a flyer on the local bulletin board and start advertising your services to the mothers of little girls you babysit. Before you know it you’ll have your first paying gig, and then moms will likely refer you others and you’ll be in business!

The Makeover Party

Like to do makeovers? You’ve probably had your friends over for a sleep over and everyone did makeovers just because they are fun, but a true make over party is much more intensive than a bit of glitter and lip gloss.

You’ve probably been to the mall and you’ve likely seen the shops for the girls that do makeovers. If you’ve had a chance to get made-over or seen your friends or sisters get a makeover, you know how much fun it can be – and how much it can cost.

But you don’t have to spend that much money to get a makeover at a makeover party. It’s simple – get a group of friends together for a party. Bring food and drinks, play music, and instead of watching movies or dancing, bring in a makeover expert. These professionals do house calls to help girls pick new looks and have a bit of fun with hair and make up.

One by one your guests can get a new, fashionable look and when the session is over, your friends will claim your party was the absolute best they’ve ever attended. And you can rest assured it probably was.

The Surprise Makeover Game

The next time you’re at a slumber party, skip all the silly antics with fingers in warm water and shaving cream in hands. You don’t really want to make your friend wet her paints or get soap in her eyes. Instead, think of her early sleep as a way to beautify her.

Once she’s in a deep sleep, very carefully and lightly apply some base and powder to her face. A sleeping face is easy to work on in some regards as she is likely to be very still and her face will be very smooth - no smile or frowning.

Keep your movements very light and deliberate. You don’t want to waste any strokes that might wake her up while you work. While it might be nice to give her a fresh face for morning with light, carefree make-up, she’s much more likely to notice if you do a more dramatic look for evenings.

Of course leaving make-up on your skin for a long time can be bad as it can clog pores, so look at your bottles to find the mixtures designed to be gentle on the skin and to prevent break-outs. If you know your friend has trouble with acne or other skin problems, skip the base, powder and blush. Just us eye make-up and a good, non-smudge lip stick to give her a look she’s be proud of – even if she’s barely awake when she first sees it.
