The Best Things about Makeover Games

Makeover games are among the most interesting adventures out there – if you’re into dressing up. When you play with make up and fashions, you’re always able to find new looks and styles to suit your face, and you can have more than a bit of fun at the same time. Makeover games are straightforward. You pull together some clothing styles you like to work with and then gather up everything you need for make up and hair. You can do this with friends or alone, depending on your mood.

If you’re working alone, you can really experiment with your clothing styles and designs to see what works for you best. If you’re playing with a friend, you have someone there to offer honest feedback and advice on the looks you’re putting together. When it’s all said and done, you have a style that is easy to wear and a look that you’re confident will be easy to pull together on a whim or a moment’s notice, especially since you’ve practiced it before.

Makeover Games and Make Up

Make up is a critical part of make up games. When you play makeover games, you can expect make up games to be a part of the whole thing. Makeover games include a huge array of things, primarily fashion items, but there are many things in makeover games that aren’t just about what you wear and how you look wearing it. Makeover games can include just how great your make up is too.

When you play makeover games, you need to think about what you’re going to wear, but at the same time really focus on what you’re doing with your overall look. Make up games are great in their own right, but when you pair a great makeover game with a really exciting outfit, the total effect is a fantastic one. You can do a lot with your makeover games without doing much more than planning your look carefully. Make up games are a huge part of that. Look for make up games that shimmer and sparkle. Don’t be afraid to use bold colors and dark smoky eyes as part of the dramatic appeal for the season.

Makeover Games and Christmas Parties

Christmas parties are the best time for makeover games. The Christmas parties involve all of the basics elements of makeover games.

Picking out fashionable clothing. The first step after you’re invited is to pick out the best outfit you can for the event. You’ll need the latest styles and a good idea of what would be appropriate for the occasion before you pick out any new clothing.

Get a great hairstyle. A great hairstyle is a must when you’re heading to a holiday party. When you get a great look, you know you’re looking your best and you’re going to feel pretty good, too. Part of the event is planning out your hairstyle ahead of time so that you’re ready on time.
Fabulous makeup is a must. You have to have great make up for the big event. Look for makeover games that involve new make up items and lots of glitter and shimmer. The holidays are the best time to really make yourself look fabulous.

Makeover Games for Goth Girls

If you’re into the goth look, you’re probably a bit focused on the dark clothing and light faces. While goth has gone out of fashion a bit over the years, to be replaced by emo and other styles, there are still some elements of the goth fashion that could be improved upon to make the outfits stylish and even romantic as opposed to morbid and depressing.

When you wear drapes of black clothing to hide your body or your black clothing is faded and worn over time, you aren’t looking your best in your choice of style. Goth was based on the gothic time period. This was a romantic time of lace and innocence shown through rich dark colors, bright eyes against fair skin and very little skin. You can pull this off without using old faded black t-shirts. Instead, use a long black skirt and a more stylish long-sleeved blouse instead of the sloppy t-shirt.

Country Makeover Games

I’d love to be part of some country makeover games. I’ve always like the easy, laid-back style of the country folk, but looking the part with the right sort of style and fun is tricky to get just right. Makeover games can give you an edge, however, when you’re trying to pull off a country look from start to finish. Your first step for the country makeover games is to give yourself the right sort of hairstyle. In the country, big hair is still fun, but you can get away with just about anything so long as it’s loose and free. Ponytails are fine, but wear your hair low – you have a hat to get on after all.

The outfit you choose can be jeans or it can a skirt and top. Even a simple patterned dress is easy to wear in a country makeover game, so pick something that is flattering and makes you comfortable while wearing it. You also need to pull on some big jewelry to carry the look before you finally settle on just the right boots and hat. Most country girls have only a single dress hat and pair of boots, so stick with something simple enough to not stand out too much from the crowd and then enjoy the adventure!

Makeover Games and New Shoes

New shoes seem to be one of the most important elements of makeover games. When you’re playing makeover games, no outfit is every complete without the final element of the perfect shoes. The trick, however, is to find the right shoes when you need them. Start by collecting shoes you love and as necessary build an outfit around them. If you’re always stuck buying shoes that just go with an outfit rather than shoes that make an outfit, you’ll never love your shoes properly and you’ll wind up frustrated with your shoe selection.

This is the point where many women claim that they don’t have any shoes to wear. By buying shoes you love, however, you’ll be able to find the style you like and not have to worry too much about if they are comfortable or if they look good. All of your shoes will be great, and your only job will be to take on the makeover games to be sure that your outfits look as great with the shoes as the shoes do by themselves.

Makeover Games and Long Nails

I have long nails, but they pose a serious problem sometimes. When I’m typing especially it drives me crazy to have the click-click-clicking of my nails on the keyboard. Most of all, I can always tell when my nails are getting too long because they make my fingers slide across the keyboard and I start missing keys. When my fingers no longer connect with the keyboard and I have to rely on my nails to do my typing for me, we’ve got a problem. It’s time for some serious makeover games with my long nails.

Normally I just cut them off with clippers or scissors and start over, but this time I’d like to try something different. I’ll still cut them down to a better length, but instead of cutting far back on my hands, I’m going to leave them shaped and ready because I’m going to start getting weekly manicures. My hands are going to look great and there’s no doubt that I’m going to love every minute of the pampering that goes into a really good manicure. My clothing might not be benefiting from this particular makeover game, but my nails need some makeover games, too!

Makeover Games Online

Online makeover games are one of the best ways to understand the ways fashions can change and work on your body. Everyone has an individual style that works well for their career and personal preferences. That style is constantly evolving and as you develop new looks, your plans can change as well. To learn more about the sort of looks and styles you might enjoy, makeover games are an obvious way to practice.

Makeover games are an easy way to practice with fashions. You’re given a doll template to work with. Start with her hair styles and add the different colors and effects until you have a look you’re happy with. Then you’ll get started with different make-up effects. Add make-up and pull the look together from the neck up. Then you’ll be given a full collection of options for clothing styles to try out and enjoy. When it’s all put together, your makeover games will be the perfect template to design your own new fashions.

Makeover Games for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a family holiday, but it can be a bit intense if your family dresses for the holiday dinner. In many households, makeover games are necessary to prepare yourself for a full presentation on Thanksgiving Day. From new hairstyles to a new outfit, you’ll want to plan ahead to put your best face and foot forward when the whole group gets together. You don’t have to do it alone, however, makeover games are a great way to get advice and practice your new look before the big day.

Makeover games start you off with a blank body. You then add the clothing options available to make a particular kind of look. Add clothing that works for you and then get to work on her hair and make up. You’ll want to add the right kind of festive look without going overboard – this is an evening in, of course. Pull it all together and you’ll have a look on paper than you can easily translate into a new look for this Thanksgiving celebration.

Makeover Games Online

If the slower winter months make you a bit nostalgic for simpler times, why not indulge yourself at work or at home by playing makeover games. We all love a good makeover, and this might be a great time to try out some new looks by finding outfits and hairstyles you’d like to try. Of course, the beauty of doing this online is that you don’t have to worry too much about how it will all come together in real life – you can just pretend and practice your makeover games online.

In the online makeover games, you’ll be given a doll base that looks a lot like a Barbie doll. The doll base will be dressed in any number of clothing items and accessories as you pull them over to her and fit them the way you’d like them to be. As everything comes together, you’ll find styles you love and perhaps some that you’re not as crazy about. Dress up the online model as often as you’d like to create a finished product you can be proud of.

Makeover Games at Home

Now that the winter months are coming on strong, it’s hard to get out of the house as much. The cooler weather settles in around us and without a few layers of clothing and jackets we’re all but trapped in the house. Why not use that time indoors for a real purpose? Use your months over the winter to complete some makeover games.

Makeover games over the winter are especially fun because you can hide behind large sweatshirts and sweaters to create your new you. Start with a fitness plan and a diet to lose those unwanted pounds. Then your makeover games can take on fun life with online orders of clothing or a few trips to the mall to try on clothing that is comfortable and very stylish on your new, slimmer figure. Most of the nights at home can include makeover games as well while you try out some new make up and hair styles. At the end of the winter months, you can pull off those bulky sweats and reveal the beautiful woman you are underneath.

Makeover Games and Money

It’s interesting how much your makeover games can be affected by money. When you’re worried about your bills, you might be one of the people who rushes out to spend more money in order to lift her spirits. The end result, of course, is that you now have less money than you did to start with. The flip side is that you are so stressed about money and making it or not spending it that you let your appearance go to pot.

If you’re worried about money, it’s not a reason to let your appearance fade. Let makeover games continue, but on a far reduced budget. Buy just the bare essentials for your basics in pants and wardrobe, but use cheap accessories to glam things up. You can buy fun items for far less than you’d imagine if you’re willing to dig through clearance racks and browse resale shops. Make up and hair products can be had for low prices as well making makeover games affordable and fun.

Makeover Games Online

Makeover games online are a great way to look for new fashions and decide the best ways to find new styles for the season. Head online to find the makeover games and look for games that feature the different seasons rather than just a general one. Finding one that features fall and winter will have more clothing options for the cooler months – information and ideas you can use while you enjoy the makeover games.

You can use the online makeover games as inspiration for your own wardrobe choices. Start with the basic doll body and then start adding clothing and accessories. Build up a design using the fashions available and take notes on how the different items look together. Find some styles you definitely like and then get ready for a trip to the stores to buy the clothes you need to enjoy your very one makeover games.

Makeover Games and Fall

The fall months are the most fun for makeover games. The weather is so mild it’s easy to throw a new look together without worrying about your hair sticking to your neck or your make-up being too garish in the bright sunshine. The cool days of fall give you lots of options for your wardrobe as well with layering techniques and a lot of fun boots and shoes to pick from. When it’s time to pull some makeover games together, the fall is the best time to give them a try.

This fall, my makeover games are going to consist of a big hair cut and some new clothing. I’m fortunate to be able to dress down for work, and my wardrobe plans include some casual pants, a bunch of sweaters that range from weekend to weekday easily and the required undershirts for a bit of layering. All told, the look is easy, comfortable and very wash-and-wear. While it might not be dramatic or even outrageously stylish, this simple fall look is timeless and easy – just the sort of thing I like.

Makeover Games and Highlights

I recently got highlights for the first time. I decided that I wasn’t content to go quietly into the years beyond the teen ones, and I wanted a new look, so I got myself one. Fortunately, I have a close friend who is a hair stylist, and she was able to arrange the highlights for me and walk me through the process. One day she sat me down and we did a subtle highlight job. The color wasn’t much darker than my hair, and I liked the effect, but I’ve since decided that a subtle job isn’t as much fun as I would have liked.

So the next time I do highlights, I’m going to do the highlights with a bit more oomph – I’m going even lighter and I might even do a dye-job first. Wouldn’t it be fun to walk into a salon as a brunette and come out as a deep red head? Or maybe some light blonde just for a bit of fun. I’ve had friends who have played with hair color for years, but I was never much of a player then. Now though, I think it’s time to take my makeover games to the next limit.

Makeover Games and Money

Makeover games don’t have to cost a lot of money. Sometimes, the best makeover games are the ones we play at discount or resale stores. If you have twenty dollars or so, you can create a pretty fantastic outfit complete with accessories if you know how to really shop. Start with the basics of the outfit – you’ll need a top and bottom. These, along with shoes can be the most expensive, so start digging for bargains.

A resale shop might have the perfect pair of jeans or perhaps an interesting dress that you can use as the basic element of the new outfit. If you’d rather not buy used, you can find heavily reduced clothing in many bargain basement type stores, although you’ll be piecing through the racks to find the really good stuff at a great price. These bargain stores are full of accessories as well, and at more than fifty or even sixty percent off, you’ll find the sorts of things you need to have a beautiful outfit for less than you’d spend on a night out at the movies.

Makeover Games and Weight Loss

Weight makes a big difference in how much you can enjoy makeover games. It’s hard to get excited about the makeover games when you feel sluggish and bloated, even if the clothing is flattering and fun. To beat the overweight feeling that we sometimes get before playing makeover games, take some time to really look at feel your best.

Do a Juice Fast – For the twenty-four hours before the big event, use fruit juice and fruit smoothies to help your body rid itself of toxins and other waste products.

Drink Lots of Water – Drink about a gallon of water over the course of the day, maybe even more, to help flush out the water that can be stored in your body from all of the salty foods we like to eat.
Exercise in the Morning – Getting active in the mornings lets you burn off some calories and ramp up energy before your real day even begins. By getting active early, you’ll have a faster metabolism during the day which will help keep your waistline trim and your energy level high.

Makeover Games in the Winter

While I love many things about the winter, one thing I don’t like is how limiting the winter can be for makeover games. With dry skin and hair that’s often bundled up against the wind or stuffed under a hat, it’s hard to look fresh and fun. It’s much easier to play makeover games in the spring or summer, but that’s not say it can’t be done. You simply have to try a bit harder. In fact, if you’re looking for a great surprise, the winter is one of the best times to get started on a makeover game.

In the winter, you can hide behind bulky clothing. The bulky clothing you wear can easily hide the fact that you’ve recently dropped ten or even twenty pounds. Under a baggy sweatshirt you can be working out and getting your arms toned up - ready for some short sleeves. Use the baggy clothing to hide your new clothing purchases as winter ends and spring begins. Finally, on that first warm day of spring, reveal the efforts of your makeover games with a new, toned body and the clothing to do it justice. You’ll look great, and it will be tremendous fun to revel in your new appearance for all of your friends.

Wishing for Makeover Games

How many of us have stared into the mirror in the morning and wished for some serious makeover games? I know that I’d love to have a team ready to take on the task of getting me ready for every day looking my best, but the fact of the matter is – I’m on my own. That doesn’t mean I can’t deal with my own makeover games, of course, it simply means I have to plan a bit differently to get myself pulled together in the best ways. For me, makeover games are a chance to improve what’s already there – I just need to take the time to do it.

The next time I’m feeling like a makeover game is in order, I’m going to start by waking up twenty minutes earlier. This gives me time to do things I might not otherwise do. I can shower, I can do some stretches, I can blow dry my hair. In my morning routine, I’ll be sure to wake up completely so that I’m comfortable putting in my contacts and applying a bit of make up. It’s interesting how much more aware and awake I feel when I’m pulled together. On the days that I go looking like I rolled out of bed, I feel that way much of the day. The few times I know I look good, I actually feel better, too. It’s definitely something to consider every morning of the week.

Makeover Games for Back to School

I love back to school shopping. It’s a nice way to get organized for the big return each fall, and it’s a great opportunity to play makeover games. After all, you want to look your best when you walk into the classroom for the first time each year, and this year will not be an exception. When you’re playing makeover games for back to school, always remember that you should be comfortable and professional in your clothing – especially if you’re required to wear a uniform.

Start your makeover game early in the summer by using your extra time to be more active. Go play outside and get busy moving and shaking. All that movement will help you shed a few pounds which will make all of your clothing fit more comfortably. As part of your makeover games, head to the salon for a new look. This is a perfect time to try on a new hairstyle or color since nobody has seen you since last year. Pick up a few new outfits in all of the back to school sales and you’re ready for the big day – your first of this year.

Makeover Games for Long Hair

I have long hair. There are times that I wish I could just run to the salon and ask them to lop it all off. I want to be cute and little with an adorable spiky haircut. Unfortunately, I’m not little. I’m very tall with broad shoulders. That means that cutting my hair ultra short will make my head look small. Or at least I think so. So for now I’m stuck with my longer hair. It gives my head a bit more balance and it is nice to be able to pull it back.

Long hair doesn’t last forever though unless you always wear it up. As you grow older, all the makeover games in the world can’t make you stop aging completely. Your face will show the signs of aging, of course, and having long hair hanging around your face actually pulls it down and makes you look older. So knowing that, I’m now thinking about the best time to do something with my own hair. I guess when I realize that I’m starting to look old I’ll get serious about a short haircut. When it that? Sixty? I have some time to grow still.

Makeover Games at the Mall

I haven’t been to the mall in ages, but I need to go because I’m desperately in need of a makeover. I love to play makeover games at the mall. The games are a nice way to delve into the current fashions and find things that really work on girls with tricky figures like mine. When you head to the mall to find some items to include in a makeover game, you might take along a friend for the fun of sharing the shopping experience, or you might go solo. Either way, you’ll be there to see what’s new and to have a great time in the process.

When I head to the mall as part of my makeover games, I try to find looks that I know are in style, but also work for my height and my build. I’m not petite or even especially thin, which appears to be the requirements for most stores in the mall. But fortunately there are plenty of stores available to those of us who need a bit of extra wiggle room in our clothing. These stores and styles let me have a great makeover game experience in the mall every year around this time.

The Case for Makeover Games

Makeover games might be a bit played out on television, but I don’t think they need to go away. Makeover games are the best way for all of us to see the sorts of things fashion experts know and the rest of us need to know. When you watch makeover games on television or over the computer, you see the shlumpy styles all of us fall into at times. These are thrown out in favor of a more tailored look that takes advantage of your best features and plays down your less attractive features.

The makeover games are all similar in the effect that they take someone who needs help and offers that help without any strings attached in most cases. The person is trotted around like a show pony, of course, but that’s not a huge problem for someone who just enjoyed a free makeover. Getting to the final results of a makeover game is exciting – an opportunity to demonstrate just how beautiful you can be when you’re dressing well and know it.

Makeover Games and Getting Crazy

Makeover games are a great way to go a bit crazy. There are so many wild, fun styles out there that you’ve probably never tried, but maybe you’ve thought about it before. Having some crazy makeover games lets you see just what you’d look like with purple hair or if you can handle fake eyelashes. Of course, you’ll want to be very careful with your makeover games and be sure that you’re not going to dye your hair purple right before a big family event that includes professional pictures, but having fun is part of the adventure.

Go to the drug store and just go crazy with the amount of stuff they have in the aisles. Look for (very) temporary hair dye and find some make up in shades you might not normally wear. Then take it all home and put it together. Put some temporary color in your hair and then do your make up over the top in a bold style. Since you’re playing at home rather than going out anywhere, there’s no reason to hold back. Try every style you want and see what exactly how it all pulls together. Who knows, you might find out that you really love a certain look more than you thought you would.

Makeover Games for Going Out

I love going out with friends. We head out to the different clubs and hot spots in the area, but the best fun of the whole thing is getting ready for the big adventure. Of course, since most fun dance places don’t get going until later at night, we take our time pulling our looks together. In fact, our prep routines are more like makeover games than anything else. When you go out to be surrounded by strangers, you have the freedom to experiment with your look and basically wear anything you want to wear without judgment.

The freedom of fashion choice is what makes makeover games for partying so much fun. You can start the process early in the day by going shopping. Buy yourself something new that is a bit different than you might otherwise wear. Then invite a friend over and spend hours putting on make up and doing something wild with your hair. Don’t be conservative – do something you’ve never done before and just have an adventure with your makeover games and your evening out.

Your Hair and Makeover Games

When we think of makeover games and television shows, the fashion and wardrobe seems to play the most crucial part of the process. But, in reality, it all can be lost if you don’t take into consideration your hairstyle. Having great hair is part of makeover games and if you don’t take time to research and consult with a hairdresser before your haircut, you’ll be missing out on a prime opportunity to really define a new you.

Your hairstyle should be absolutely flattering for your face and your lifestyle. If you’re not into hours in the bathroom, there are styles out there that can accommodate that. If you prefer to look immaculately groomed, consider a new style that is just as polished. The worst thing you can do a your prepare your makeover games is to take the same old hairstyle you’ve been sporting for years or to take the non hairstyle you have with your hair pulled back all of the time and use that to showcase the beautiful new clothing and makeup you have pulled together.

Makeover Games and Gum

It’s a shame really how quickly you can mess up the overall effects of a makeover game. Makeover games are an opportunity to be glamorous and gorgeous. You should find an outfit that is flattering and looks beautiful on and makes you feel even better. By wearing something new you look great – your makeup looks even better and the new hairstyle is absolutely killer. So why then, do so many of us who look beautiful thanks to makeover games then pop some gum in our mouth and ruin the entire effect.

Not to say that there’s anything wrong with gum, but it’s just not attractive to actually watch someone chew it. After all, the gum chewing mouth very closely resembles a cow’s mouth as it chews its cud. Chomp, chomp, chomp – how is that attractive? When you do makeover games, you’re looking to be noticed. You feel great and you want others to think that you look great as well. It is a true shame with this effect is ruined by a big mouthful of gum. Don’t let gum be the downfall of your makeover game – enjoy your gum after you’re done showing off instead.

Makeover Games and Your Fingers

Do you bite your nails? It’s hard to have successful makeover games if you’re destroying your fingernails. Fingernails are small enough that they aren’t a huge make or break, but when your look is coming together, it reaches a point that you have to decide on how you’re going to handle the details. Pulling a look together means incorporating everything. If you like short nails, you can certainly keep your nails short, but looking groomed is essential to any look – unless you’re going for grunge or hobo.

There are plenty of ways to stop biting your nails if you seem to have a problem with chewing on them. There are gross polishes you can put on the nails to make them taste bad. Other people opt to put on fake nails over the existing nails. Not only is this good for the makeover games, but it also gives you something totally different to taste and feel in your mouth if you go to put that big fake nail in your mouth instead of the chewed up small ones you’re used to. Overall, once you stop biting your nails, you’ll feel better and you’ll be more in tune with the details of the makeover games.

Makeover Games and Back to School

Summer just began, but it’s not too soon to be thinking about back-to-school shopping. Actually, the summer is one of the best times to build up your back-to-school wardrobe because you have essentially all the time in the world to find pieces that fit well and are comfortable without rushing or feeling the pressure to buy, buy, buy. As you start getting ready for the next school year, take some time to truly enjoy makeover games.

You’ll want to find clothing that, of course, suits your school’s dress code, but at the same time, the makeover games you’re playing should suit your own personal style as well. Makeover games should be able making you more confident and look better. You can do this by incorporating more than just shopping into your plans. Try out a bold new hairstyle over the summer to see how it works for you. If you like it, keep it. If you hate it, you have plenty of time to grow it out or to cut it into something new to try before school even starts.

Makeover Games for Little Sisters

The makeover games that your little sister plays are the simple kind. She just loves to wear your clothing and makeup and you should let her wear them as often as possible since this is a great game the two of you can play together. Doing makeover games with your little sister will absolutely make her day, and in doing so, you’ll feel pretty good yourself.

Start the makeover games by setting a time limit. This sort of game can go on for hours, so when you realize you have a few hours before your evening plans take off and your little sister is looking a bit bored, ask if she wants to do a makeover game. She’ll likely be thrilled and if you’re willing you can have her invite a friend, too. Then start going through your closet to find clothes that she can wear to feel older and a bit cooler.

Once she’s dressed, sit her down and start working on her makeup and hairstyle. At the end of the makeover games, she’ll be ready to have her own little fashion show and you can sit back and admire your work knowing that you sister really loves your time together.

Makeover Games for Summer

In the summer months, you should absolutely look for opportunities for makeover games. The summer makeover games give you a chance to redefine your look. Unless you’re working brutal hours over the summer months, you’ll have more time to work on your fitness level and perhaps get your body toned up and in shape or build muscle and definition. Having time to work out and exercise also gives you better control of your emotions and reactions to life’s little situations. You can reduce the stress that’s built up over the school months as well using those empty weeks of summer.

Over the summer, you also have plenty of time to scour the stores looking for great deals on new fashion items. As you find new tops and pants, be on the lookout for clothing you can wear to school comfortably – not just summer items. Having clothing that can be worn both in the summer and during the school year makes it much easier to dress yourself no matter what the occasion or time of year. You’ll get the most out of your clothing and look great year round, which is always a great deal of funa s well.

Makeover Games for Warm Weather

The warmer weather of spring and summer brings with it some particular challenges. Getting ready for warm weather means having to ditch the bulky sweaters and layers that we hide behind during the winter and actually baring a bit more skin. To prepare for the coming of the warm weather, be sure your makeover games are targeted and fun.

The best ways to ditch the winter wardrobe is all at once. Spend a weekend digging around in your closet and drawers to find pieces that will help you transisiton from jeans and sweaters to shorts and t-shirts. A hoodie and a few pairs of longer, loose pants will likely be all you need over the next few weeks to cover the cooler days that come along while showing off your capris and Bermuda shorts at school – provided they are in the dress code, of course. Remember, too, that with warm weather comes the need for more exposed skin. This means you absolutely need more sunscreen as well.

Makeover Games and Summer

Summer is the perfect time for makeover games. Every summer, I end the school year wearing a huge number of layers and identities that I’ve created for the various organizations I’m a part of. To get through the last bits of the frantic year, I’ve made up some different personas and there is nothing like summer vacation to help me shed those and rediscover who I truly am.

While I’m actually digging deeper into who I am, it appears as though I’m changing myself to others. This is why I term this particular change as makeover games. I’m making over myself again to get me back closer to who I really want to be. This doesn’t just involve fashion, although my look is definitely a part of it. By the end of the school year, I’ve gained a few pounds from stress eating that need to be dropped and I’ve gotten pretty dependent on a few wardrobe staples. I then have to toss out those items and start anew to find clothes to fit my shrinking shape in a glamorous, or at least comfortable, way.

Makeover Games and Friends

As much as they support you and love you, your friends can also be your toughest critics. Friends are used to seeing you as they want to see you, and often this is the way they have been most comfortable with you for years. If you’re the funny one in the group, it makes them very nervous for you to become the dramatic one who loves fashion. If you’re dependable and quiet, branching out into a bit of wild fun can really ruffle some feathers.

While it might make your friends a bit uncomfortable, letting them call the shots in your life can be dangerous as well. We all grow and change and being kept in a position you don’t really care for is beyond frustrating. To help your friends accept you for who you’d like to become, include them in your makeover games. Post some of your thoughts and plans on your social profiles and be open and talk about what you intend to do to improve yourself. Stay true to yourself, even in the face of feedback and just enjoy being you – any version of you you want.

Makeover Games and Weight Loss

It’s important to remember that losing weight should be its own reward. But that being said, having a few makeover games along the way to help you look your best at any weight is worth a few extra dollars as well. When it comes to makeover games dedicated to losing weight, you need to focus on the journey rather than the destination. If you’re focused solely on your final weight goal, you’ll miss so much of the fun of a weight loss journey.

For example, the first time your pants are too lose is worth a treat in the form of some makeover games. Treat yourself to a manicure the first time you have to wear a belt to keep your pants up. When you drop the first dress size, don’t just think of how far you still have to go, but think of how much fun it was to get this far at this stage of the journey. Pack up all the clothing in that big size and take then to a resale or consignment shop. Take the cash you earn on your old, oversized wardrobe and buy yourself something fun in your new size. You can do that for every step of the way in fact. With hard work and dedication you’ll make it to your final goal, but make it even better by enjoying the full experience.

Makeover Games and High Heels

Nothing ruins a good makeover game faster than wearing high heels when you can’t really walk in them. High heeled shoes can be hard to walk in if you’re not used to wearing them, but not knowing the proper way to handle the shoes can make you look a bit silly as you travel the hallways at school or work. The key to wearing high heels as part of your makeover games is to practice in then quite a bit.

Buy a pair of high heels that you’d like to wear with a particular outfit. Take the shoes outside and scuff then bottoms of them on the concrete, although you need to be sure you’re planning to keep them. Scuffing up the shoes makes them easier to walk in as they won’t slip on carpet or slick tile floors. Then simply put the shoes on with whatever else you’re wearing and just go about your day at home. Walk around the house breaking in the shoes and giving your legs a chance to adapt to the way the shoes make you feel.

Makeover Games and Eyebrows

If you haven’t already had your eyebrows shaped, absolutely look into it. Eyebrows are the framework for the face. The more shape and structure your eyebrows have, the better they frame the entire eye making it look larger and more open. Having your eyebrows trimmed up also gives your face a very groomed appearance, which is important for those of us who love to play makeover games.

Don’t shape your eyebrows yourself unless you really know what you’re doing. It’s far better to go and have then waxed or plucked by a professional who can give you a basic shape. Once you have the shape in place, you can maintain the eyebrows by plucking the stray hairs that come in yourself. You might even invest in a home waxing kit to take care of cleaning up your face without having to pay for the salon visit. Once you have your eyebrows done, though, you’ll be amazed you went so long without them looking clean and beautiful.

Makeover Games after Babies

I’m very much of the mindset that having babies throws off a complete universe when it comes to looking good. During pregnancy you’re able to buy new maternity clothes to showcase that adorable belly and make yourself look great, even if your ankles are swollen. But then once the baby comes, you’re stuck between a cute maternity wardrobe that’s too big and a cute real wardrobe that’s too small, so you get desperate and lose yourself.

Unfortunately for many of us, even if we lose most of the baby fat or all of it, the body we once had has changed a bit. You might be thicker one place and thinner in another. Your clothing might not fit correctly any more. If this has happened to you, take your old wardrobe to the tailor to see what can be salvaged. If you wind up a size bigger, don’t sweat it too much. Just use the opportunity to take on some new makeover games and get that new, improved one-size-up wardrobe.

Makeover Games in the Backyard

I’m a big fan of spreading the makeover love well beyond the basic wardrobe. I’ve been working lately on making over the backyard. Why? Because it needed it and it’s a great way to get a bit of outdoor exercise and some fresh air. My backyard is a disaster area much in need of some love and makeover games. The yard is full of rocks and dead plants that were here from years ago. Our first step was to get rid of most of them in order to figure out what was underneath. The end results will be stunning, but the process is most certainly time consuming.

Playing makeover games in the backyard requires me to be out there with work gloves and a shovel. I’m okay with that. It’s like take away years of neglect and replacing it with a bit of TLC. Just like I can change my look with a few new pieces, I can change the look of my backyard by taking out some of the junk and putting in something that looks nice. I’m not done with my makeover games just yet, but the yard is most certainly looking much improved.

Makeover Games and Saving Money

It’s expensive to face some makeover games. The makeover often doesn’t come cheaply and finding new styles and getting a new look can really add up if you’re not careful. If you’re anxious for a makeover, but find yourself without a great deal of ready cash, do what women have been doing for centuries – get creative.

Spend the bulk of the money on your new hairstyle. This is something you really don’t want to be cutting corners on and having a great look starts with having great hair. It’s hard to look stunning if you don’t have a defined hairstyle. Use another good portion of your budget on quality cosmetics. Wearing make up that irritates your skin or bothers your delicate sense of smell isn’t going to help you at all. Finally, as you start to look for new clothing, be sure to spend plenty of time in resale shops and garage sales. There are plenty of clothing options available in garage sales if you have the time and patience to look for them and you’ll have a beautiful new look and still save money.

Why Makeover Games?

In a society focused on fashion, beauty and physical appearance, it would seem that makeover games are contributing to the madness, and to a degree they might be. After all, the premise of makeover games is taking someone who isn’t “good enough” and making them more stylish and attractive. Of course, I’m not entirely sure that’s the way it really works. After all, most people aren’t totally reluctance to makeover games and they probably know that they aren’t style icons. I mean, we all have sweatshirt days – right?

So let’s take a typical makeover games applicant. She’s out of fashion and she knows it. She doesn’t have a great personal style and probably wants one. Her hair is sloppy and she knows that, too. So why is she stuck in this rut? Because it’s insanely hard to get yourself out of the rut once you’re in it. But it’s much easier when stylists and fashion experts step in to glamorize you and show you what to do every step of the way. After all, isn’t it far better to start with some experience under your belt than just from scratch?

Makeover Games and Being Overweight

Makeover games seem to be rather biased in favor of the skinny girls out there. Why are all the girls in the makeover games the little ones? I have nothing against the little ones in the world, but it would be nice to see a girl who had a bit of extra meat on her learning to dress herself with confidence again. Actually now that I’ve said that, I remember that I have seen a few makeover shows lately that seem to feature some heavier ladies and I did find those particularly interesting.

Those of us with softer body features all carry our weight in different ways. Some women carry extra weight on top and some on the bottom. Some have weight evenly distributed and others get a belly and keep thin legs. However your extra weight is distributed, there are ways to slim and unify your appearance through your clothing selections. Finding and playing with makeover games for larger women can make a huge difference in how you view yourself and how you feel about everything in your life. After all, looking good often translates to feeling good, too.

When It Time For Makeover Games

I’m just about ready for a full round of makeover games. Makeover games aren’t just for talk shows, you know. I think they are really a part of every girl’s life as she goes through one phase after another looking to find a realistic picture of who she is and what she really wants to be. And for me, it’s been quite a while since I had a true makeover game experience.

I’ve already started working on my body shape, which is often done for you in online makeover games, but this is the real world, so it must be addressed. The next step is to do something with my hair. It’s long and always pulled up. It even has a bit of gray that needs to be covered as well. I want a style, but I don’t want to deal with it. It’s definitely tricky. Once I get a hairstyle, I need a make-up regime that won’t make me late every morning. I currently wear none, but that should change when I figure out what I really want to do with my look. Hopefully by paying a bit of attention to myself through makeover games, I’ll be able to find a new perspective on life.

Makeover Games and Eyebrows

Eyebrows are the windows of the face and the presentation your eyebrows creates makes for a tremendous difference in how your face looks. Thick eyebrows can overshadow other lovely features and eyebrows that are too thin can make the forehead look wide and the rest of the face look out of proportion. Finding the perfect shape and width of your eyebrows is a very fine-toothed problem.

When working on eyebrows, always work very small and keep things balanced. Start by checking to be sure that the eyebrows start in line with the eye and end in line with a diagonal between your nose and the corner of your eye. Then work slowly plucking just one hair at a time from each eye to keep things balanced. If you’re at all nervous about doing your own eyebrows, let a professional wax them for you so that you’re confident in the shape they’ll be moving forward.

Once they are shaped, you’ll be able to maintain them by plucking the stray hairs or by scheduling follow-up visits to the salon for repeated waxings. The more waxings you do, the finer the hairs grow back and the less maintenance you’ll have to do over time.

Makeover Games and Cosmetology

If you’re interested in a career in cosmetology, one of the best things you can do are sit down to play makeover games. Granted you won’t be playing with real hair the way you will be in the class, but you’ll be able to see the different hair techniques and be able to work with make-up and different colors. Cosmetology is far more than just giving someone a new haircut. It involves skin care, facials and nail care. Getting certified as a cosmetologist takes about two years and many school districts now offer the programs in high schools.

If you’re interested in starting a cosmetology program, you might first see if you have the aptitude for the sorts of things you’ll be doing by working online with the makeover games. Work on the make-up and the hairstyles of the dolls and get a feel for your patience when it comes to seeing how things work and the amount of time it can take to create a perfect look. The finished product will be more than a bit lovely, of course.

3 Great Things about Makeover Games

For those of us that love makeover games, it’s not a secret what makes them so special. However if you haven’t had a chance to sit down and enjoy playing makeover games on your own computer, you should absolutely try it. It’s almost assured you’ll love the games as much as the rest of us.

Makeover games are great because they are a lot like building something. Instead of building with your hands and a hammer, you’re building with a mouse and your sense of style. The end result of your design is a well dressed online doll.

Makeover games encourage you to design something different each time and they let you use your innate creativity. There aren’t many games online that let you do that and you also have a chance to save your creative work by posting it online or printing it.

Makeover games give you ideas for the future. When you’re playing makeover games, you’re able to see what sorts of styles can be pulled together and how they look. Who knows, you might find something really beautiful to try.

Makeover Games and Me

I am in serious need of some makeover games. I’ll admit I’m a huge fan of makeover games online and on television, but I haven’t had a chance to be part of a makeover game myself since my last slumber party and that was a considerable amount of time ago. I love the idea of a makeover and every time I look into the mirror I realize that it’s really getting close to time to take control of my appearance.

Until I get the guts to tackle my own beauty regime, I’m resigned to playing makeover games online. Of course, that’s not exactly a bad thing. When you play makeover games on the computer, you start with a basic or plain doll and you make her fabulous. This gives me endless inspiration for my own future transformation. I get to examine all of the potential hairstyles and look at the fashion ideas that can be pulled together during the game.

I’ve gotten rather good at pulling styles together for the teenage fashion plates online and I like to think that the practice I’m gaining playing these makeover games is giving me the skills I need to tackle me own makeover game soon.

Makeover Games and Fashion

Fashion is a tricky beast to tame. Actually, you don’t want to tame it, but you do want to get a handle on it. Personal fashion is a skill that some people seem to have an eye for while the rest of us flounder in solid t-shirts and jeans. Playing makeover games can teach you a huge amount about fashion and the best ways to integrate your personal taste into what’s fashionable right now. After all, if it were something that came naturally to all of us, we wouldn’t be worried about finding the right styles and learning to wear clothing with style and grace.

In makeover games, you start with a basic form. You then take her through the paces to find flattering outfits and styles. Add accessories, a new hairstyle and some make up and your personal doll creation is complete. Along the way you were able to see just how much can be done with a few careful wardrobe selections and the right accessories. It’s astonishing how easy it is to look wonderful once you realize what looks wonderful on you.

Makeover Games and Your Mind

There are few things out there that mess with your mind more than makeover games. And I mean that in a good way. Playing makeover games by yourself or with a friend is one of the best ways to explore your own look and to learn about yourself and your physical advantages. For example, if you dress in loose fitting clothing all of the time, you likely have no idea what you’d look like in something more fashion friendly and stylish. Trying on your first tunic and leggings can be profound.

Makeover games encourage you to see the possibilities for yourself in regards to style as well. You might have fallen into a rut or just never really traveled outside of the basics of jeans and a T-shirt to try out new styles and to see what might be possible when you blend a few styles together or try new things. Makeover games can take you out of that rut and into new adventures.

Understanding Makeover Games

They aren’t complicated, but still, many men and even some women fail to see what makes makeover games so much fun. There are plenty of benefits to playing makeover games at home, in the salon or through virtual means such as online makeover games, but the best reason of all is how they make you feel.

Makeover games make you feel relaxed. If you’re on the receiving end of a nice pedicure, you’ll be leaning back, preferably in a massage chair getting your feet massaged and your toenails painted. Likewise a manicure comes with a heavy duty hand massage. It’s impossible to not feel great after one of those.

Makeover games leave you energized. Taking time for yourself is critical to having a rested and rejuvenated year. When you’ve focused on caring for yourself, your whole being, mind included, benefits strongly.

Makeover games boost confidence. When you know you look good, you feel great. Makeover games let you feel great and look even better. Taking care of yourself and knowing that your best face is forward is absolutely confidence inspiring.
