Makeover Games in the Winter

Winter is a fun time for makeover games. In the winter, clothing is comfortable and warm. Dressing fashionably in the winter is usually a matter of pulling together coordinates with warm elements. A pair of cords looks great with a bulky sweater. Wool slacks pair easily with a cardigan and shell. Of course, makeover games in any season are more complicated than simply changing your wardrobe.

For a full makeover game, you need to not only tackle the wardrobe, but the hairstyles and make up as well. In the winter, hair tends to be drier and will need a bit of extra moisture. It’s easier to wear down in the winter as your hair helps to keep your neck warm. But dry air can cause fly-aways and breakage, so be sure to treat your hair properly and ease up on the heat sources for styling.

Of course, your skin will need some pampering in the winter as well. Plan on adding extra moisture to your routine. You’ll want to keep your skin well hydrated and protected from the wind as well. Wearing darker colors will help bring your features to the forefront during your makeover games.

Makeover Games for the Holidays

The holidays are a great time to focus on your winter wardrobe and your overall look. There are so many special occasions in the winter that need a bit of glamour and fun. Spend some time working with your make up, wardrobe and hairstyle over the winter holidays so that you have a good idea of how you want to look for each of those special occasions.

Layers – Not only do layers look great in your hair, they are also especially attractive on your body. Wearing layers to a holiday event allows you to pull together a terrific outfit and as the temperature changes, you can accommodate with a sweater or light coat. Some holiday events are inside with dry heat being pumped into the crowd. Others are outside where you’ll need to find warmth. Dressing in layers lets you take both of the temperature extremes into consideration.

Sparkle and Dazzle – There just aren’t that many times you can wear a bit of sparkle on your clothing without going over the top. The holidays are the perfect time to glisten and sparkle. Wear a bit of sequins on a rich fabric for a bright, festive appearance.

Makeover Games for Winter

Winter is upon us, and it’s time to get serious about dressing for the colder weather. When getting set up for the winter months, be sure to plan ahead to get all of the wardrobe essentials before you need them.

Warm pants are absolutely necessary for the winter months. These might be jeans or maybe some cute cords. Even heavy khaki pants will do. But there is nothing worse that having cold legs when the wind is blowing and the cold rain or snow is falling. Keep them covered in something warm and dry.

Bulky tops are the perfect winter wear. There is a lot to say for thin sweaters and lightweight tops to layer, but most of us love the bulky collection of sweaters and sweatshirts we can finally get away with in the winter months. Nothing beats a pair of stretchy comfortable pants and a giant sweatshirt for bumming around the house or even bumming around the classroom on a given Friday.

Finally, you’ll need the most important things of all – warm shoes. We all love cute shoes, but when it’s cold out, you need some boots and comfortable sneaks that aren’t going to let all that cold mushy snow in to freeze your socks.

Makeover Games and Face Paint

There is something freeing about face paint. We stand in lines at carnivals to get something fun drawn on our faces and we are thrilled to draw all over our faces to support our favorite teams. But face paint can be used in some excellent makeover games as well.

When playing with face paint, pay attention to how much you can actually do with just a few sticks of colors. You can paint your entire face a bold color, much like Blue Men, or give yourself a bit of animal appeal with animal stripes and a dark nose. You have the option of using a little or a lot and it’s great fun either way.

Favorite ways to play makeover games with face painting include designing faux masks for Halloween and putting together spirited looks for team sports and such. Don’t be afraid to go over the top with the face paint for Halloween events of all kinds. You might even get lucky and be able to wear some of your Halloween face to school. If that’s the case, bring your entire case of colors, because you know you’ll be getting requests the rest of the day.

The Case for Makeover Games

Playing makeover games isn’t for everyone, admittedly, but you’ll never know until you try. It should be a general rule of some kind to never knock the makeover games until you’ve tried them for the first time. You most likely don’t know what you’re missing and just how fun these special kinds of online games can be.

Makeover games are simple to play. Find a makeover game site you feel might be fun. You’ll be making over a blah base into someone fabulous. Get some great clothing to put on your base. Look for styles you’re not as comfortable with and you’ll be learning as you play. Once you’ve figured out how these things get pieced together, move on to smaller items of clothing and accessories.

Finally, when your creation is complete, you can save her in a virtual portfolio of some kind, or print her out. Most of the time, however, you’ll enjoy playing with her for a time and then you’ll want to move on to the next creation. They are highly addictive after all.
