Makeover Games and Your Money

Makeover games are expensive. It’s a shame really that looking good can cost so much, but it’s unfortunately the truth. Playing a makeover game involves hairstyles, new makeup and new clothing – preferably a lot of it. As much as we love to watch women and sometimes men spend $5000 in New York City on clothing and such, that’s simply not the reality for the rest of us.

While it’s almost impossible to play makeover games for nothing at all, you can play them for far less than you might realize if you get creative. Start with your clothing. Hit the consignment shops in your area for true fashion at a discounted price. If you’re considering vintage pieces or basics rather than edgy fashion, these pieces can be found at a considerable savings.

Another option is to head to the stores and try things on. And then take yourself and your money back home and look online to see if you can find the items for less. Auction sites are a great way to do exactly this. Look for breaks and sales in stores as well for make up and clothing. A bad economy often means great savings for those willing to spend a bit.
