Anyone with a younger sister, cousin or babysitting charge can tell you that playing dress up is a young girl’s dream. If you’re in charge of fun around your house, try out a few new makeover games with your little protégés.
Glitter Makeover Games
There is always something fun to do with glitter. Start by putting some in a manicure and then move on to glitter on shoulder and faces. Glitter can be part of your makeup or a face painting and after you put together a beautiful up-do, glitter can be the defining moment. Glitter just makes things more fun.
Princess Makeover Games
If you thought your sister loved princesses, help her dress up like one and you’ll have a friend for life. She likely has a dress or two to wear, so help her into that. Find the right shoes and then do her hair like a princess would have. Complete the game by giving her a royal scepter and making a throne using a chair and blanket.
Mermaid Makeover Games
A personal favorite – tell your sister you’re going to help her dress up like a mermaid. Grab a sheet or a large blanket while she’s changing into her swimsuit. Then have her lie on the floor and wrap her legs tightly in the blanket. She’ll flip and flop like a fish out of water for a while before realizing she’s stuck. It’s great fun.
